Since then, we have continued extensive restoration work and have upgraded fixtures, furnishings and surroundings for the comfort of our guests, consistent with the Victorian era. Janet recently retired from Sears Canada as Coordinator of Human Resources in Barrie, Ontario. Darrell recently retired as an educator and clinical psychologist providing behavioural healthcare services. In his new career as co-host of the Joseph Lawrence House BandB, Darrell also enjoys working with Janet and the stimulating challenge of learning the multi - tasking skills required to be an assistant cook, gardner, and landscaper.
